Hey there, I’m Cat.
I’m an Australian artist and creative based in Byron Bay, New South Wales — but more broadly, I’m someone who has always been drawn to building, creating, and bringing ideas to life.
I’ve spent over a decade working across the interiors and design industry, shaping a refined visual perspective that continues to influence everything I do today — from my artwork to the brands and businesses I help build.
Alongside my art practice, I am the Director of The Designory, a design-led business focused on making thoughtful, elevated design more accessible. I also run Cat Gerke Creative, where I work with clients across marketing, branding, digital, and business strategy — helping bring clarity, direction, and execution to their ideas.
What ties it all together is a love of both creativity and strategy. Whether I’m developing a campaign, designing a website, creating content, or painting in the studio, I approach everything with the same intention — to create work that feels considered, cohesive, and meaningful.
